Settings
هذه الصفحة لم تُترجم بعد، لذا تُعرض النسخة الإنجليزية.
Settings holds the choices that apply to every project on this computer: where your materials live, what new cabinets start with, and the defaults for pricing and nesting. Open it from the Cabybara toolbar or menu ("Settings").
Everything here is stored per computer, not in the model - a second workstation needs its own setup, and nothing travels inside a .skp.
Save Settings writes every tab at once and closes the window; Cancel discards. Enter saves from any text field, Escape cancels. The status bar confirms with "Cabybara settings saved".
Materials
Custom Materials Folder - the folder holding your .skm files. These are what every Material dropdown in the plugin offers (cabinet dialog, panel dialog, stock catalog, Components Manager, Materials Manager). Subfolders are scanned too. Browse picks a folder, Open opens it in the file browser and creates it if needed, and Refresh re-scans after you add files. A status line reports what was found, e.g. "12 material(s) found" or "Directory does not exist". Leave the field empty to use the built-in folder, whose path is shown in the hint underneath - clearing a custom folder is how you get back to it, and Open goes there too while the field is empty.
See Materials for what to put there.
Defaults
Default Materials - a material per part category (Frame / Structure, Door, Fiber, Shelves, Drawer Frame). These are pre-selected for you in the cabinet dialog; you can still override them per cabinet. Door and Fiber have their own rows in either assignment mode. Frame is the Uniform row, and Uniform mode gives every part that one material - so the Shelves and Drawer Frame defaults only take effect in Individual mode, on cabinet types that have those parts. The list offers whatever is in the folder currently typed on the Materials tab, so you can repoint the folder and pick new defaults in one pass. A warning appears if a saved default's file has gone missing.
Auto-unique copied cabinets (on) - copying a cabinet with Move+Ctrl automatically makes it a genuinely separate cabinet with its own name (WC_2 rather than WC_1#1), including its panels. Leave this on unless you specifically want copies to stay linked.
Nesting
Auto-save nesting results (on) - every nesting run and every applied manual edit is written to a .cnest file, keeping the 20 most recent. Hand-saved files in that folder are never pruned.
Custom Nesting History Folder - where those files go; leave empty for the default location shown in the hint. Browse and Open work as on the Materials tab.
The nesting dialog's sidebar has the same auto-save switch. They share one stored value, but an already-open nesting window rewrites it on its next run - change it in one place and reopen the other.
See Nesting.
Pricing
Default profit (%) (30) - the margin applied to every stock that has no override of its own. Per-stock overrides live in the Stock Catalog, and a flat profit there is added per part.
Currency - IQD, shown for reference; the plugin is single-currency.
Company name and Quote footer note - printed on the customer quotation only, not on the on-screen report. See Pricing.
About
Version and copyright, plus Manage License... for checking your license or pairing and unpairing this computer. See Licensing. Settings itself opens without a license, so this route stays available.
When changes take effect
Copy behavior and the profit percent apply immediately, and the Customer Pricing dialog's Refresh button picks up new quote strings. The materials folder and the default materials are read when a dialog opens, so close and reopen the dialog that uses them - the cabinet dialog in particular reuses an open window, so closing it first is what matters.
