Pricing

هذه الصفحة لم تُترجم بعد، لذا تُعرض النسخة الإنجليزية.

في هذه الصفحة
  1. How a part is priced
  2. Rounding and currency
  3. Unpriced parts are never silently dropped

Cabybara prices every part from its assigned stock and presents the result in three places, all computed by the same engine with the same rounding:

  • Customer Pricing - the report dialog with the printable quotation and CSV export.
  • Pricing Overlay - live prices on the model, with the Price Info breakdown window.
  • The Production Report shows costs from the same rates on the production side.

How a part is priced

Raw cost comes from the stock's type:

  • Sheet goods and veneer: rate per m2 times the part's face area.
  • Solid wood: rate per meter times the part's longest dimension (falls back to a per-m2 rate if that is all the entry has).
  • Hardware: a fixed rate per piece.
  • Marble: rate per meter of the part's longest side.
  • Edge banding: not priced per part yet - price banding manually or fold it into sheet rates.

Profit is then applied, first match wins:

  1. The stock's flat profit - a fixed amount added once per part using that stock (suited to per-piece hardware).
  2. The stock's profit percent - an explicit 0 is honored, so a stock can be sold at cost.
  3. The global default percent (Settings, Pricing tab; factory default 30%).

Per-stock margins are set in the Stock Catalog's Customer Pricing section; the global default, the company name and the quote footer note live in Settings, Pricing.

Rounding and currency

Every price is a whole IQD figure: each part's price is rounded first, and all subtotals and grand totals are sums of those rounded parts, so every surface shows the same numbers. There is no currency setting - all pricing is IQD.

Unpriced parts are never silently dropped

A part with no stock, a stock that was deleted from the catalog, or a stock without a usable rate contributes nothing to the totals - and is flagged everywhere: a warning banner with examples in the report, a warning count per cabinet, a red line on the printed quotation, a WARNING row in the CSV, and amber/red highlights in the overlay. Fix unpriced parts by assigning stocks (Stock Painter) or completing rates in the Stock Catalog.
