Terms of Service

Effective 14 September 2026 These terms are an agreement between you and Cabybara ("we", "us"), the provider of the Cabybara extension for SketchUp and of the account service at cabybara.design. By creating or using an account, or by installing or using the extension, you accept these terms. If you use Cabybara on behalf of a company or workshop, you confirm that you may accept these terms for it. 1. What Cabybara is Cabybara is a SketchUp extension for designing cabinets, nesting parts on sheets and producing cut files, labels, reports and price estimates, together with the website where accounts, devices and subscriptions are managed. The exact features depend on the version of the extension and on your plan. 2. Accounts Accounts are created by us for you. Each account is for one person or one workshop, and you are responsible for everything done through it. Keep your password private and tell us at once if you believe someone else is using your account. We may suspend or close an account that is used in breach of these terms, that is not paid for, or that we reasonably believe is being misused. 3. Your license While your subscription is active, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the extension on the number of devices your plan allows, for your own design and production work. The extension is licensed, not sold. You may not copy, sell, rent, sublicense or share it, remove or bypass its licensing, reverse engineer or decompile it, or use it to build a competing product. All rights in the extension and the website remain ours. 4. Subscriptions and payment Access is provided by subscription. Prices, billing periods and what each plan includes are those shown on our website or quoted to you at the time you subscribe, and are paid in advance. We may change prices and plans for future periods; a change never applies to a period you have already paid for. If a payment is not made when due, we may suspend access at once, and any extra time we allow before suspending is at our discretion and is not a promise for the future. Payments are not refundable except where we decide otherwise or the law requires it. Taxes or fees that apply to your payment are your responsibility. 5. Devices and activation The extension must be activated on each device from your account. Activations may be reviewed and approved by us, are limited to the number allowed by your plan, and may be revoked if a device is lost, shared outside your workshop or used in breach of these terms. The extension checks its license with our servers from time to time and needs an internet connection for that. 6. Your models and output Your SketchUp models, and everything the extension generates from them, such as cut files, labels, reports and price estimates, are yours. We claim no rights in them. You are responsible for making sure that what you design and produce is lawful and does not infringe anyone else's rights. 7. Check before you cut The extension is a design and planning tool. Nesting results, cut files, dimensions, quantities, material counts, prices and any other figures it produces must be checked by you before they are used for purchasing, cutting or production. We are not responsible for wasted material, damaged tools or machines, incorrect parts, lost production time or any other loss that comes from using the extension's output without checking it. 8. Availability, changes and support We work to keep the extension and the website running and improving, but we do not promise that they will be available at all times or free of errors. We may add, change, limit or remove features, and we may release new versions that require an update. Anything described as planned or upcoming is not a commitment. Support is provided as we are able, through the contact details on our website. 9. Acceptable use You may not use Cabybara in a way that breaks the law, interferes with our servers or other customers, or attempts to gain access to accounts, data or systems that are not yours. 10. Limitation of liability To the fullest extent the applicable law allows, Cabybara is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost data or lost business, and our total liability to you for anything connected with Cabybara is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. 11. Termination You may stop using Cabybara at any time; paid periods are not refunded on that account. We may end this agreement if you breach it, if your subscription is not paid, or if we discontinue the service, in which case we will try to give you reasonable notice. When the agreement ends, your license ends, the extension stops working on your devices, and we may close your account and delete its data as described in our Privacy Policy. 12. Changes to these terms We may update these terms. The current version is always available on our website, and we will note the effective date. If a change is material, we will let you know by email or when you next sign in. Using Cabybara after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. 13. Governing law These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Iraq. If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest continues to apply. 14. Contact Questions about these terms can be sent to us through the contact section of cabybara.design.
