Privacy Policy

Effective 14 September 2026 This policy explains what Cabybara ("we", "us") collects when you use the Cabybara extension for SketchUp and the account service at cabybara.design, why we collect it, and what you can ask of us. 1. What we collect When we create your account: your name, email address, phone number and workshop address, so that we can identify you, contact you and issue invoices. When you sign in: a session record, the time of sign-in and the IP address, so that we can keep your account secure and detect abuse. When you activate a device: an installation identifier the extension generates, the device name you give it, its operating system, the SketchUp version, the extension version and the IP address of the request, so that we can license the right devices and review activations. When you subscribe: your plan, billing periods, invoices and the payments we record against them. We do not collect card numbers or bank details; payment is arranged with us directly. When you accept legal documents: which version you accepted, when, and from which IP address. 2. What the extension sends The extension contacts our servers only to activate, refresh and check its license. Those requests carry your account and device identity and the version numbers above. The extension does not upload your SketchUp models, your drawings, your cut files, your prices or any other content of your work. It does not collect usage analytics. 3. Why we use your data To provide the extension and the website, to license your devices, to bill you and keep payment records, to keep accounts secure and prevent abuse, to answer your requests, and to tell you about changes to the service, your subscription or these documents. We do not use your data for advertising. 4. Sharing We do not sell your data. We share it only with the providers that host our servers, who process it for us, and where the law requires us to disclose it. 5. Retention We keep your data while your account exists. After an account is closed, we delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable time, except records we must keep for accounting, for security or to resolve a dispute. 6. Security Data travels over encrypted connections, passwords are stored hashed, license material is encrypted at rest, and access to customer data is limited to the people who run the service. No system is completely secure, and we will tell you if a breach affects your data. 7. Your rights You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it and close your account. You can also ask us to stop contacting you about anything that is not necessary to run your subscription. Send requests through the contact section of cabybara.design; we may need to confirm your identity first. 8. Cookies The website uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. It does not use advertising or tracking cookies. 9. Changes We may update this policy. The current version is always available on our website with its effective date, and we will tell you about material changes by email or when you next sign in. 10. Contact Questions about privacy can be sent to us through the contact section of cabybara.design.
